Is your washer not working at all? Check is whether it’s plugged into the outlet and whether or not its circuit breaker or fuse has been tripped.

Does the control panel light up and the motor appear to be working, but the tub doesn’t fill with water? Check to see if the water valve is closed or partly closed. Also, be sure to check the lid switch. Often washers won’t function unless the lid switch is working properly.

Is your washing machine filling and draining at the same time? Check to make sure that the drain hose is resting at least three feet over the floor.

No water? If neither hot or cold water isn’t flowing, confirm that the inlet hoses, one from your hot water heater and one from ordinary tap water are open and not kinked.
