My GE front loader washer had served my family well for many years but it was sending some error... codes and having some performance issues. I wasn't ready to send it packing yet, and was hoping it was something repairable, especially after paying for a new roof the previous week. After a Google search, I found Hartman's Appliance Repair; and gave them a call early Monday morning. Based on my location, Christine informed me that they could send a technician out that same day. However, due to having 2 medical appointments that day, we set my appointment for the next morning. Stev arrived promptly; and went right to work, diagnosing a number of issues my washer had. Alas, it was time to say goodbye to the loyal hardworking GE as repair costs would be substantial and weren't recommended due to age of washer. Stev was great, taking the time to show me and explain each issue; and also , educate me on washers in general. I took my newly gained knowledge with me later that same day and used it to help me with shopping for a new washer; and my fabulous new Whirlpool will be delivered very soon! Hartman's provided service to me that was above and beyond. Communication was great, and their fees were very reasonable. Hopefully, I won't have any other appliances needing help anytime soon. The repairman spent an hour or more deicing the evaporator coils and put in a heater so ice would... not collect in the corner of the evaporator. He was competent and the service overall was excellent. Hartman repairs all appliances except AC and heat pumps. I would hire them again.read more
